Danielle Cell
One of the simplest practical sources of electrical is Danielle Cell. It is contain a zinc electrode immersed in a solution of zinc ions (Zn++) and a copper electrode in a solution of bivalent copper ions (Cu++). Negative ions are also present but need not be considered for the moment.
